PostSubject: How to colorize gimp brush?   Sun Jun 03, 2012 5:49 pm

Im making a sim pic and used some gimp brushes. The brushes are all black, but I want them to be a different color. Im pretty sure I did this before, but I cant remember how. I tried right clocking on the brush layer and selecting 'colorize' but it stayed black

Is there something Im forgetting to do or is it that only some brushes are able to colored and some not? :sorrow:

Thanks

Just click here and then choose the color you want

If you do what Amylet said and the brush still doesn't colorize, then it's probably non colorable. There are some brushes around that you can't change the color of.

If the brush isn't recolourable what you can do is use the lasso tool to select what you made with the brush and then click colours> colorize and play with the colours there
