PostSubject: Tablet suggestions?   Sat Jun 09, 2012 6:39 pm

My birthday is this week, and I will be receiving a "decent" amount of money, which I would like to spoil myself with a new tablet. I'm not sure if I should get an actual drawing tablet computer or a tablet like the bamboo or intuos5. And, I really don't know which would be best since I am not experience in this tech. I will be getting 200-300 dollars.

Any help, please?

The bamboo would probably be more in your price range, and they're good little tablets. Mine has lasted me six years and still going strong. I'd say it's the perfect one to learn on.

I love my Wacom Bamboo tablet. Most people will tell you to get it. It's an amazing tablet. Mine came with PSE, Sketchbook, and something else *thinks* . .anyway it was only $100. Sweet deal! I constantly use it now. Took awhile to get used to the pen, but LOVE it!

I use the Bamboo Fun, it's great and really not expensive and it comes with two programs : Photoshop Elements and ArtRage, which is an awesome and super detailed painting program. I would recommend you this one.

I bought a wacom Bamboo connect, and I'm expecting it to arrive in about two or three days. So psyched!
