PostSubject: Blender : some pose questions   Sun Jul 22, 2012 6:08 pm

Hey !
I decided to create a pose today, for the first time. Not used to Blender yet.
So my question is (stupid) : how can I see the face right before me, to change the expression ? I tried with alt + left click but I just can't make the sim look at me !
Thanks for your help, and probably more stupid questions to come ! ::

Press 1 on your number pad to directly face the sim. Zoom in using your mouse scrollbar. Then hold shift down and use the scrollbar to move the camera up and you should be able to see the face right at you. Continue using shift+scrollbar to move and regular scrollbar to zoom until your close enough to do what you want with the face

Hey if you still need help then here is some info!

I agree with Lidi but I'm pretty sure (could be wrong :P) on my version you hold down shift and then click and drag with the mouse to move the camera. Also, if you hold down the mouse scrollbar and then move the mouse the camera will rotate. I find this very useful.

Here is a great video by Littlemisssimmies that focuses on camera angles, basic rotations, facial expressions and other helpful stuff - [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.]

I really recommend it!
