PostSubject: Game stops at a specific time   Sun Sep 22, 2013 1:00 pm

OK im having some issue with my game freezing at a specific time in game.. First is was 1:59am then 2:01am then 2:30am now its 2:34am.. I have done a disk clean up,cleanup (the one that makes a flushing toilet sound when you run it) and a defrag.. I have also added twallons mods Overwatch, error trap, master controller and i even created a save town in Starlight Shores and i normally play in Sunset Valley.. I have also used sp3e to combine my package files, i went for having 500+ packages to 4 files named File#.package.. Must say doing that game does load faster... Any ideas to get my game to not freeze at a specific time?

Have you tried without custom content with a new folder ?
If you didn't, you should rename it in _The Sims 3, Sims 3 Old or whatever, load your game and see what happens.
By the way, what are your computer specs ?

I would take out your mods folder as there could be a conflicting or outdated mod lurking around. The same thing happened to me a while back, and it ended up being an outdated mod wrecking havoc in my game!

Also, I noticed that with the overwatch mod installed, my game freezes completely around 2:30-3am so that it can turn off stereos/find lost sims etc. That also may be your problem.

I hope you get everything back up and running!

You know what that just so happens to the mod that I just put in and that's when I can think off my issue started happening.. Even tho it say for 1.57update ... Now it's stopping at 2:20am so I'll go remove that mod and see what happens
