Ladybug, I remember your first picture for the Agency and I was thinking (note, I was horrendous at the time with anything that involved editing) she's not half-bad. Then, in no time you become one of my favorite editors and my mind is just blown. Literally, if you visited my room at this moment you would see my mind all over the floor. Blown.

:puggy:
You have made my day!!! I really don't think I am that good at editing but I am sooooooo flattered to be one of your favorite editors. You are becoming an amazing editor and I love the fantasy picture you made (Hint: I really want to see a before and after pick of it) Lol thank you sooooo much again.

GAH. I deleted them all so I could make room on my super slow computer. But anyway, it was a bunch of random shots of my sim just blinking and looking around the room I had trapped her in. I don't think I even used pose player.
Basically, the only things I'm happy with in the fantasy pic is the dragon's head, which I spent nearly an hour on, and the hair, since it was my fourth time drawing hair and my first success. I'm sure I'll look back on it in a month and completely hate it, just like I do with my first edits....

Don't laugh, but elements 6. I tried gimp and it scared me so much that I didn't come out of the shadows for days. I want CS5 but I am broke beyond belief. But I did get a tablet, so I could stop using my trackpad, and that's helped...a lot.

Elements is awesome. P:
I have Elements 8. My first edit was made with gimp, and it was horrendous. XD

Student discount you say? Hm...guess I can look into that. Just have to save up enough money.
Early, I like elements when I have a picture from RL to edit, since it's so great for that. But, I really want to get it into drawing and graphic design, so Elements (6 especially since it doesn't have as much as the new editions) is being a pain and limiting my creative juices. I could try and work around it, but that's a lot of work for someone as lazy as me d:

@Mystic
*high fives you*
I agree with that statement
(I am feeling better now and I was wondering if you would be on Portvale tomorrow)

Ohhh, yeah I understand that Monks.
I rarely edit that much, I do in games for the most part, sooooo I just need it for simple stuff. Makeup and skin shading if I'm doing close ups.

I wish I could do reliable in-games. Sometimes they come out nicely and I don't need to do much, but other times all I can use is my sims. I'm not good at creating sets in the sims. *Shame*

Probably. If you want you can have me email so we can talk about times and other shenanigans for Portvale ----> [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.]
Most of my sims look really weird if I don't do my usual heavy editing. I don't know how you pull of such clean and great looking in game photos Early...

Your doggy is adorable in your avi, Alma!
I would say I'm best at in games. I had stopped doing them for a bit, was just doing simple pictures that didn't require me to build up much of a set or anything, so I wasn't doing too great when I got back into them. But recently I have been practicing more, and I think I'm doing well.
Most I do to them is some lighting effects.
I would just tell people to keep practicing, use lots of good clutter if the assignment/idea calls for it, and work on angles. Also, I have an addiction to CASTing stuff, so I would recommend using lots of cool patterns, colours, and such :p

ALot of the time I do heavy editing, then I either have a 'Ohmygod I'm rubbish at editing' or a 'this is a sim competition, I should really use more sim stuff' moment, so I just do lighting editing and skin smoothing. But I always go back to editing.
ANd set building is practically the only thing I can do!
