I'm kinda fascinated to how your photos start before you edit them, sometimes I don't realise quite how much/little editing makes all your great pics ^_^ So if you want I would love to see some before and afters =)

&Wow, that is amazing Mystic! It looks fantastic.

Gorgeous Mystic! I love all the little details, like the chunk taken outta her arm... and her being a zombie, fixing the fingers didn't matter! It just looks like they fell off! (And I mean this in a good way... brrraaaaainssss...) Also, awesome hair and skirt drawing is awesome... ^_^

One of mine. It was one pic in the Flawless mock... but one I'm rather proud of. My hubby even took the five seconds away from Team Fortress 2 to look at it and go, "Woah... cool!" XDD It's not much, but I like it.

* Skin shaded
* Evened up lip color
* Drew on eye makeup/ eyelashes
* Fixed pixellated hair parts
* Drew in scratch marks
* Whitened teeth (they looked almost black, eww. Even asylums have toothbrushes.)
* Entered text: a quote from Edgar Allan Poe. :D

I haven't done a proper sims picture in ages, and after looking around, saw this thread and was really inspired, so...

That's A M A Z I N G! I still find editing so daunting that almost anything looks good, but I'm a sucker for B&W pics and vintage sets. Did you make the wings yourself or did you find them online?

Sean, I think those are a wings brush. Some of them look SO FREAKIN' GOOD.

Nims -- I am in awe. O.o I love how you do that skin thing to your sims. I need to figure it out one day. It looks so real!

@Nims- that looks like it could be a movie poster. That is so relaistic looking!

Thank you (: As for skin, I never skin smooth or stuff like that. I don't even skin shade xD I simply use a mixture of curves and dodge and burn and of course some other secret tricks ;) But I never touch the smudge tool or the blur tool or Gaussian blur :3

I know one of your secret tricks ;). But it still mystifies me as how you manage to make it work...

Ooooh! *thinks she knows what Nims does* XD Wish I'd have thought to try it for the insane pic... that would've worked nicely.

lol I use smudge and Gaussian blur on my skins, but never the actual skin itself, just the layers I color over. Very occasionally I'll smudge the skin, if it gets one of those borked really sticky-outy angular sections.

You all already know about me and my love affair with smudge, though. I defend it to the death. It's in the way that you use it *sings*

I like that pic, Starling. It looks to me like they're going into a club or something, and are checking out a sign for it. and you really made the outside lighting look GOOOOD!

Haha it's a secret. I can't use it myself because I'm in gimp...

I could be wrong, but it ALMOST looks like you might use a sort of grungy brush on low opacity? O.o I'm probably wrong. But I'm gonna try that too, anyway.
