How to Create a REALLY White or REALLY Black Background
Sun Oct 02, 2011 9:22 pm
GOT AN ASSIGNMENT THAT REQUIRES YOU TO USE A BLACK OR WHITE BACKGROUND?
NEED TO SUBMIT A MODEL ENTRY ON A BLACK OR WHITE BACKGROUND?
USE THIS TUTORIAL TO GET THOSE JET BLACK OR PURE WHITE BACKGROUNDS!
::This is a very straight forward, very basic step by step tutorial. If you're familiar with CAS skip to step 7::
Step 1: The Lot
Choose whatever lot you want. You can see my choice in lot here:
[You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]
Step 2: Build the White/Black Screen Room
Build your room however big you want. If you use a room within a house already built or you have a special "white screen room" please make sure you still follow the steps for getting the right background.
[You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]
Step 3: Choosing the Flooring
Choose the flooring in the Carpet section. The flooring will be titled Simple Flooring - it's a white carpet.
[You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]
Step 4: Entering CAS
Click on the Create a Style button or press R. Then click anywhere on the flooring you just placed.

Step 5: What CAS Looks Like
Yes, I'm including this because, believe it or not, some people don't know what CAS is. (Create a Style)
Once you click on the flooring this new window will appear.
