Cool-ify Text (PS and PSE)

:blue star: An easy way to get cool text! :blue star:

Well, there are different effects that can be used that might be easier, but this makes things a little cooler according to me ;)

Step 1:

Write your text (obviously lol)

Step 2:

Right click on the layer (in the layer box), choose duplicate layer. Then, right click again and select "simplify layer", or else you won't be able to do anything to it.

Step 3:

Click ctrl+U, then drag the lightness meter down to black.

Step 4:

Now, go to filter>blur>gaussian blur and blur until you think it looks good, I'd recommend not to blur that layer too much.

Step 5:

Now, put it behind the text layer and move it using the up/down and right/left buttons on your keyboard. It should look cool like this:

Step 6:

Re-duplicate the TEXT layer, then simplify and click crtl+U, this time, drag the lightness meter up to a light tint of the colour OR white. I went with white.

Step 7:

Now, click ctrl+F once or twice. When it looks good, move it into a good spot like you did before. NOTE: the light layer should be on top of the text layer.

Afterwards, lower the opacity until it looks good.
